Install instructions

  • 1. Download the game
    • Scroll down to the Download section on this page.
    • Click the Download button for the .rar file.
    • Save the file somewhere you can find it easily (like your Desktop or Downloads folder).
  • 2. Extract the files
    • The game is packed in a .rar archive. You’ll need a program to extract it.
    • Recommended free options:
      • WinRAR (Windows)
      • 7-Zip (Windows)
      • The Unarchiver (Mac)
    • Right-click the .rar file → choose Extract Here or Extract to [Folder].
    • This will create a new folder containing all the game files.
  • 3. Run the game
    • Open the extracted folder.
    • Look for the file named something like NeonSurge2.exe (on Windows) or the app bundle (on Mac).
    • Double-click the file to start playing.
  • 4. Troubleshooting
    • If Windows asks for permission, click Run Anyway (this happens because the game isn’t from the Microsoft Store).
    • Make sure you extracted all files from the .rar - Unity games the need the full folder (with Data folder and DLLs) to run.
    • If the game won’t launch, try moving the folder somewhere simple like C:\Games\NeonSurge2.
